That’s why almost all users are giving attention to their inbox. There are many tasks involved like finding important mails, reply, search, if you have more than one account then checking these accounts etc.

Fortunately, if you’re a Gmail user, there are many cool features that boost your productivity. Currently there are more than 900 million users of Gmail and it is a most popular mail service from last 10 years.

However, many users are not aware about Gmail’s many features that are beneficial for them. Here are a few tips and tricks that enhance your Gmail experience and you will change the way you used Gmail.

1) Let Gmail prioritize your inbox:

If you are getting too many mails daily, then suddenly your inbox fills with hundreds of mail and it becomes hard to find out which mail are important and which mails has reply.

Then Priority Inbox attempts to automatically identify your important incoming messages and separates them out from everything else. By default, Priority Inbox splits your inbox into three sections: “Important and unread,” “Starred,” and “Everything else.” Gmail will intelligently select the most frequently read messages in your inbox and bring them to the top.Gmail_prioritize_inbox

Priority Inbox is one of several inbox styles and you can easily switch styles to find the one that works best.

To set Priority Inbox –

2) Set Default Reply All:

Everyone receives emails in which there are multiple contacts and if you have frequently reply to all, then you can change the default reply optGmail_ReplytoAllion to Reply All.

3) Sign in to multiple accounts at once:

If you have more than one Google Account, you can use multiple sign-in to switch between accounts without having to sign out and back in again. You can easily switch between the two within the same browser (like Chrome or Firefox) using multiple sign-in.

4) Check emails from other accounts using Gmail:

If you have multiple email accounts, you can check them all in Gmail. Gmail’s Mail Fetcher feature first imports all your old messages to Gmail and then continues to bring in new messages sent to your other account. You can add up to 5 accounts, including Gmail and other email providers that offer POP3 access.Gmail_Add_another_account

5) Import email and contacts:

If you're switching to Gmail from another email provider, you can easily transfer your old emails and contacts to Gmail. New emails are forwarded to your Gmail account for 30 days to give you time to tell your friends about your new address.

6) Unsubscribe from Mailing Lists:

If you areGmail_Unsubscribe getting too many newsletters and want to unsubscribe from their mailing list, then searching through individual messages for little unsubscribe links is too big a pain. But Gmail has made it easy for you to unsubscribe from email newsletters and other bulk mail. Open a message, then click the “unsubscribe” button which is at right side of the sender’s email address at the top of the message

7) Undo sending your mail:

If you make a mistake or regret sending a message, you can undo the action by enabling "Undo send." This setting gives you the option to take back a message you just sent.

Note: To give you time to undo, Gmail delays sending the message for a few seconds. So if you don't select "Undo" within the time limit, message will send.

8) Gmail Offline:

If you want tGmail_offlineo access mails, reply to mail, search inbox without an Internet connection, then use a Google Chrome app – Gmail Offline. This app lets you read and manages messages when you don’t have an Internet connection. You can even compose messages that will be sent when you’re back online.

9)  Last account activity:Gmail_Last_account_activity

Last account activity shows you information about recent activity in your mail. Recent activity includes any time that your mail was accessed using a regular web browser,  a POP client, a mobile device, a third-party application, IP address from mails are accessed  etc.

To access this information, simply click the Details link next to the Last account activity line at the bottom of any Gmail page.

10) Remote sign out:

If you forgot sign out from a public computer or your lost device, then you can do it remotely.

Log in to Gmail from your computer and scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says "Last account activity". It also shows how many other locations your account is open in. Click Details and click "Sign out all other sessions".

11) Essential Keyboard Shortcuts

Using keyboard shortcuts makes your work more fast and easy. But Before you can use these keyboard shortcuts, you’ll need to enable keyboard shortcuts in your settings:
