But here is the simple method to block adult sites.
If you are using Windows 7 then follow these steps:
Click Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center.
Click on “Local Area Connection”. A new pop-up window will appear.
Select “Properties” and from then next screen, select “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” and then again click on “Properties” button.
Next, choose the option “Use the following DNS server addresses” and then enter the OpenDNS servers.
Preferred DNS Server: 188.8.131.52
Alternate DNS Server: 184.108.40.206
Click “OK” and then restart your Internet connection.
Test your settings-
Visit http://www.internetbadguys.com. If you see a message that the page is blocked by OpenDNS, then FamilyShield is working correctly, and you're done! If you see a message that this is a sample site, then FamilyShield isn't working yet and then contact us.
