Take care while switch phone number:

WhatsApp has a privacy weakness that occurs when users switch their phone numbers. Information about users is stored on servers and can then be accidentally downloaded onto the phones of people who take this number and who don’t own the accounts.

According to WhatsApp, when an account is inactive for 45 days it will disconnects the account from the old phone number and deletes the user’s messages and profile information. But for safeguard, that you delete your accounts before switch to a new number, or to transfer the account from your old number to the new one.
